Let's Talk Culture

Terms of Service

Last updated 28 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Culture Offsite platform from Let's Talk Culture (the "platform"), provided by Shane Michael Hatton Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using the platform you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to buy a licence or hold an account.

2. Your licence

When you buy a facilitator licence you get a personal, non-transferable right to access the platform and use it to run the culture offsite with the team you lead. You can run it again as your team changes or as you take on new teams that you lead. Your access does not expire, though the platform may change and improve over time.

3. What the licence is not

The standard licence is not a reseller, agency or consulting licence. It does not permit you to run the offsite as a paid service for unrelated organisations, or to share your access with people outside the team you lead. If you want to use the platform across many client teams, or roll it out to a whole organisation, contact us about a partner or organisation licence.

4. Our content

The videos, facilitator guide, cards, templates, book and the platform itself are our intellectual property. You may use them to run your offsite, but you may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish, or create derivative products from them.

5. Your content

You own the content you create in the platform, such as your agenda, comms plan and culture action plan. You grant us the permission needed to store and process it so we can provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not sell it.

6. Community posts and uploads

If you post in the community or upload files, images or a profile photo, you confirm you have the right to share them and that they don't infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights. We may remove content that breaches these terms. If you believe something on the platform infringes your copyright, email contact@shanemhatton.com with a link to the content and your contact details, and we'll review it and remove it promptly where appropriate.

7. Acceptable use

Please keep your login to yourself, don't attempt to access other accounts or data, don't scrape or bulk-download the platform, and don't misuse the AI features to generate harmful or unrelated content.

8. AI features

Some features use AI to generate suggestions, such as agenda ideas or answers from the guide. AI can be inaccurate or incomplete, so review anything before you rely on it or share it. You're responsible for how you use what it produces.

9. Licence payment and refunds

The licence is a one-off fee, shown in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if the platform isn't the right fit for you, email us at contact@shanemhatton.com within 30 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full. This is in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Measure subscription

Measure is an optional add-on that tracks whether the behaviours your team agreed are landing. It's billed per team, monthly or yearly, in Australian dollars including GST. Your licence includes a free period of Measure. When a free period ends, you choose whether to subscribe, and we never charge you for Measure unless you do. Once you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If you subscribe during a free period, your first payment is taken when that period ends. You can cancel any time from Manage billing on your Measure page: cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Your first Measure payment is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change applies to your subscription.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, suspend or improve features over time.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we'll let you know by email or in the platform before it takes effect. For anything to do with these terms, your licence or your subscription, contact us at contact@shanemhatton.com.
